Brass Stem Band for Rowboat Repair and Restoration

Description

4 half-oval pieces 48″ long x 3/8 wide. Attach with 3/4″ #4 flat or oval head brass screws (not supplied) and a dab of clear silicone.

The stem band, made of malleable brass, can take many years of abrasion. Brass naturally tarnishes and darkens, but can be buffed back to a shine with steel wool and a metal polish such as Brasso.
